Member Duties : Training and Disaster Services Human Resources (DSHR) are often the first two touch points within ES for our new volunteers. The ES Training Asst. will work directly with the Volunteer Training Development Manager on ensuring quality, effective, and timely training of ES volunteers. He/she will also work to ensure appropriate maintenance of the DSHR system for local and national deployments. The ES Training Asst. will coordinate other projects aimed at training and development and will be the primary customer service point of contact for volunteers in training. He/she will be a trained instructor in FA/CPR, and will regularly teach a number of ES classes. The Training Asst. will help to compile monthly training statistics and the monthly ES newsletter, as well as assisting in the coordination of the semi-annual ES All Volunteer Event.
