Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco partners with working families and the community to build affordable ownership homes in Marin, San Francisco and the Peninsula. Formed through the merger of Peninsula Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity San Francisco in August 2008, Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco provides a unique solution to the local housing crisis and has enabled nearly 150 families to purchase affordable housing. Since 1989, Habitat Greater San Francisco has built more than 135 homes throughout San Mateo and San Francisco counties.

Member Duties : The Homeowner Selection Coordinator will assist Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco operating and maintaining the selection program, work closely with applicants and potential applicants through the process, provide support and assistance to the Homeowner Selection Manager, and facilitate homeowner development as a representative of the affiliate. Specific duties include: Provide support to the front desk and help answer all applicant inquiries, develop and follow through on outreach goals, organize initial orientations and assist applicants with completing applications, track in files and Access database, provide timely notice to applicant homeowners of their application status, prep and submit Applicants for credit reports and meet with credit agent for follow-up, perform background checks on family members, coordinate home visits.
