Student Success Coach and Mentor

At City Year, we believe that supporting children and young adults contributes to just, equitable and vibrant communities. Yet, due to systemic failings that contribute to inequitable access to educational opportunities, too many students don't have access to the learning environments they need. Our AmeriCorps members dedicate 11 months to serve fulltime as student success coaches. They partner with teachers and schools where they help students build their strengths and cultivate social, emotional, and academic skills. Through their work in schools and communities, our AmeriCorps members not only make a difference in the lives of students they serve, but also develop their own skills that prepare them to be the next generation of leaders. More information can be found at www.cityyear.org. City Year is available to all, without regard to race, color, origin gender, political affiliation, disability, sexual orientation, or religion. *** WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE UNIVERSAL AMERICORPS APPLICATION.*** You must apply through our online application which can be found here: https://joincityyear.force.com
