CHRIC is a community-based housing agency serving Chautauqua County in western New York. Our goal is to have a VISTA enable the agency to successfully apply for increased funding in support of housing programs and projects in the area served through community research and data collection to support new grant applications for innovative housing programs and projects; program and/or project design to address the needs identified in the research activity; and grant writing activities to complete funding requests supporting new programs or projects resulting from research and program design efforts. The VISTA will be part of our development team to set up new programs and ensure contract compliance. Our VISTA will also work to ensure that all of our digital media is state of the art and that social media positively represents the work of CHRIC.

Member Duties : The VISTA will help CHRIC grow its programs through research into unmet housing and community development needs in Chautauqua County, grantwriting to support new housing and community development program activities, and enhancing the agency's image on the web through the development and management of new social media platforms.
