Member Duties : Members will: Follow ASC Risk Management procedures; Follow directions; Perform tasks as part of a cooperative team; Maintain a non-judgmental attitude and sensitivity to others; Be responsible and reliable; Communicate professionally with fellow Crew members, leaders, staff, and public; Perform strenuous work; lift and carry up to fifty pounds; Be able to hike 5 miles in various terrain
ASC is a drug-free organization; alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited. ASC is an independent, non-residential program. The crew member must supply his/her own personal outdoor gear and equipment such as a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, day pack, work pants, hiking/ work boots, personal food and dishes/utensils. ASC will provide the training, tools, protective gear and transportation to projects.
