High Rocks Sprouting Farms Partnership
 
 
 
Join our food access action team! Together, we have created a robust plan to tackle food security and equability in West Virginia. Our goal is to maximize access to fresh food across our state. These part-time positions will be located at KISRA/Paradise Farms in Dunbar, WV.

Member Duties : • Support SproutingFarms to strengthen the community education programs • Assist coordinators to recruit, train, and monitor farm volunteers • Establish a rapport with area educators, school agriculture programs, leaders and volunteers, students, and their families, Keep in touch about programming • With RCBI and Sprouting Farms support, coordinate Community Education programming at Sprouting Farms • Serve as liaison between Sprouting Farms, schools, educational partners and service providers • Encourage, support and develop farm program volunteers • Plan and coordinate widely accessible programs that address identified and stated goals • Consistently follow SF & RCBI guidelines for reporting and recordkeeping • Assist Sprouting Farms staff with community events and promotional activities • Assist farm manager in maintaining and facilitating care for the demonstration farm
