Education Empowerment VISTA
 
 
 
Our project endeavors to empower the community through various impactful initiatives, including after-school programs, engaging workshops, and dynamic summer camps. Our main aim is to provide a secure and inclusive environment where individuals can thrive. Our objectives span from improving academic performance and nurturing creativity to fostering essential life skills, promoting physical well-being, and encouraging positive community engagement. Ultimately, our goal is to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of the people we serve and contribute to the broader development of our community.

Member Duties : As an AmeriCorps VISTA Member with Marnel C. Moorman Family Life Center you will have the opportunity to engage in capacity-building activities aimed at combating poverty and promoting sustainable solutions. Through your service, you will contribute to our mission of education, exposure to new opportunities, and empowering people to change the trajectory of their lives. You will assist with developing and implementing strategies to expand outreach and engagement efforts, building partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and stakeholders, designing and facilitating workshops, trainings, and events, assisting in the development of fundraising and grant writing initiatives, and evaluating program effectiveness and impact through data collection and analysis.
