Member Duties : The TMA AmeriCorps VISTA member will play an integral role in educating the Bowie State University community, expanding services of the Nutrition Lounge, and increasing the visibility of Bowie State University food insecurity reduction efforts. The member will:
1. Implement educational programs in partnership with the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs to include Student Engagement, the Office of Residence Life, the Henry Wise Wellness Center, and other departments.
2. Track student usage to refer students in need to support services at Bowie State University and additional external resources.
3. Promote the Nutrition Lounge through social media and conventional publicity channels.
