West Valley Health Equity

Our health-supported housing program provides support for mental and behavioral healthcare, substance abuse treatment/recovery, family and peer support, legal representation, parenting education, life and workforce skills training, social connections, and wellness programs for families. Our housing facilities use a scattered site model and are in health-supporting neighborhoods, promising a vibrant and more vital community that starts at home.

Member Duties : AmeriCorps members will be working in the health supported housing in the Maricopa area. their roles in community outreach, public health education, mental health education and awareness, emotional regulation, resilience skill building, and social services navigation and social connection.

Program Benefits : Choice of Education Award or End of Service Stipend , Stipend , Living Allowance , Childcare assistance if eligible .
