23 Arizona Serve VISTA - Community Foundation Communications
 
 
 
The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona we work directly with donors, nonprofits, local government, the business community, and other partners in philanthropy to inspire and enact long-term solutions for our communities’ most pressing problems. The Foundation connects donors who want to make a difference to the causes they care about. The Foundation addresses a broad spectrum of issues and applies collective funds to life-changing philanthropic efforts. The AmeriCorps VISTA Member will support our marketing, community engagement, and program evaluation efforts, especially related to CFSA’s Donor Education Events and the Center for Healthy Nonprofits. The Center provides numerous free webinars, training events, and programs every month to strengthen the capacity of the nonprofit sector in Southern Arizona.

Member Duties : Marketing & Communications: Identify and engage smaller, grassroots nonprofits working in rural areas. Help connect them to CFSA's nonprofit resources. Maintain relationships to continuously collect feedback on what resources are most useful to them in their local context with the goal of reducing the effects of poverty in these areas. Resource Development: Review the resources available in CFSA’s Nonprofit Resource Library and reformat to be more accessible. Develop web pages and support engagement with resources by promoting via social media and converting recorded sessions into shareable content. Support the growth of the Center for Healthy Nonprofits through promotional efforts and assist with event planning and coordination. Program Evaluation: Define outputs and outcomes associated with the Center for Healthy Nonprofits, create a logic model and quantitative and qualitative survey tool to demonstrate Center activities, inputs, and associated outputs and outcomes.
