Mississippi Senior Needs Project
 
 
 
The Mississippi Department of Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services (MDHS/DAAS) "Mississippi Senior Needs Project" will address health needs effecting populations of low income through various local nonprofits and public agencies . Some of activities a VISTA member will be engaged in will include: fundraising events, grant writing, recruiting volunteers, outreach, and developing community partnerships.

Member Duties : VISTA members will serve one (1) year to focus their efforts on helping organizations sustain programs and/or projects in regards to community health services and healthcare counseling systems to serve and empower low-income populations.
