Al-Maa’uun Program Developer VISTA (EMERGE)

The Family Stabilization Project is a pilot program that focuses on 20 households across five categories including housing, employment, health, behavioral health, and community engagement. You will have an opportunity to support these families in three distinct ways. 1. You will assist the Executive Director in the development the 12 module curriculum for the monthly Family Cohort Support meetings. This curriculum will cover many issues including health, relationships, networking, communication, visioning, and overall wellness. You will help research and prepare content for lessons, exercises and homework for families to comprehend and practice the skills they are learning each month. 2. You will develop a resource guide for families to assist them during times of emergencies to keep them on track towards Stability. This will be a living document where resources will continually be added as new resources are discovered or when change happens within these programs. 3. You, in consultation with the Executive Director and grant writer, will research foundations that are in alignment with the work that we do serving families in the community. You will create a calendar for grants, formulate content for the proposals and develop letters of intent for foundations.
