Equitable access to enough nutritious food is critical for children's physical and mental well-being, supports seniors living with chronic disease and limited income, and builds healthy communities while reducing food insecurity. Their long term efforts to impact statewide and federal policy through advocacy and systemic change will build a foundation to ensure that no one needs a food box in the first place.
