Member Duties : The Development & Engagement VISTA will build organizational capacity for Gateway to Hope by expanding community outreach efforts, funding opportunities, volunteer engagement, and building data management practices to increase capacity for direct services to Missouri women as they navigate the breast health continuum of care (education, screening, and treatment navigation). Key objectives include developing and managing volunteer and community engagement programs, identifying, and managing funding opportunities, including grants, donor relations, and events, and increasing data management and reporting practices. As a result of these activities, Gateway to Hope will reach more eligible women (at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level) to increase screening rates and decrease late-stage diagnoses and mortality rates across the state.
