AmeriCorps NCCC Summer of Service 2023 Team Leader

The mission of AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) is to strengthen communities and develop leaders through team-based national and community service. NCCC’s Summer of Service 2022 is a full-time, short-term service opportunity for young adults interested in gaining experience in environmental work. You’ll train in Aurora, Colo., then deploy to a project site within the U.S. alongside a team of 6-12 fellow 18-26-year-olds. All participants will receive meals and housing, transportation, a modest living stipend, and a post-service benefit. No prior climate or environmental work experience is required. For more information, including about our Serve with a Friend! program, please visit https://americorps.gov/serve/fit-finder/americorps-nccc/join#Summer-of-Service. Completed References need to be submitted by 3/2. Please note: At this time we are unable to edit question 3 on the Team Leader application asking whether you are willing to commit 11 or 12 months to NCCC service. Summer of Service is a short term service program; your answer to that question will not impact your eligibility to serve as a Team Leader for our Summer of Service program. We apologize about any confusion.
