Survivor Link Public Health Summer Specialist
 
 
 
The primary objective of the Survivor Link + Public Health Summer Specialist is to build capacity in the public health or complementary agencies to respond to domestic violence by identifying additional opportunities enhancing the response to domestic violence in the community. The Summer Specialist works under the supervision of a faculty coordinator. Member Duties: This 300 hour minimum time term of service will include training on domestic violence, engaging in capacity building activities, and hosting training and educational events at sites as identified by the faculty coordinator. Member service hours will require regular documentation and supervision; members are required to submit online time cards every week

Member Duties : The Summer Specialist works under the supervision of a faculty coordinator to identify additional opportunities for public health or complimentary agencies to enhance their response to domestic violence. This 300 hour term of service will include training hours where the member learns about various aspects of domestic violence in order to complete their service effectively. The specialist will engage in capacity building activities, such as providing trainings to the community or public health or complementary agencies as identified by the faculty coordinator.
