Member Duties : The Summer Healthy Relationships Specialist will work in partnership with ASU Faculty and Staff to increase knowledge and awareness surrounding issues of Relational Health and Gender Based Violence in the community. Service will entail 300 hours; this specialized position will engage with clients across multiple age groups to provide information about healthy relationships and gender-based violence as well as assess whether knowledge was improved based on the information provided. Assignments will include community outreach, healthy relationship curriculum development, and organizing community events. Service includes providing training on healthy relationships; providing referrals to evidence-based safety and planning intervention. The Specialist will engage in a minimum of 4 hours of professional development or/and continuing education training as identified and approved by the Survivor Link representative.
