Hope Clinic Communications/Marketing VISTA

HOPE Clinic is a nonprofit organization that has been serving refugees and immigrants since 2002 while providing culturally appropriate quality health care services to everyone. Today, there are 30 languages spoken in-house and over 150 employees. HOPE Clinic provides primary care, pediatric, optometry, and dental services at a discounted rate. Among providing services, HOPE is also involved in many innovative initiatives geared toward education and improving the community. In order to share HOPE Clinic’s story with a larger scope, operations understand the importance of communications and the role aspects of social media and digital storytelling plays in growth. Building the communications department will support these efforts and allow HOPE Clinic to reach a larger underserved population while educating them on the resources available to them in order to aid their attempts to prioritize their health.

Member Duties : The Communications/Marketing Vista will be focusing on building a sustainable communications program by incorporating clinic objectives and educating leadership and others on incorporating relevant social media techniques. They will be responsible for developing and improving social media presence and maintaining activity and engagement, as well as researching social media best practices and applying findings. This will include developing online content and expanding the clinic email list. Vista will simultaneously be supporting clinic branding efforts and collecting data for reports on communication growth.
