AdviseAZ Summer Bridge Program

Advisers will provide summer support to recent high school graduates, focusing on college readiness and provide one-on-one advising on college preparation – with an emphasis on combating Summer Melt. The primary responsibilities involve guiding students through the final admission and financial aid steps, connecting students to their campus resources, and helping students with how to be successful in college. Advisers will commit to an AmeriCorps 100-hour term of service starting in May 2024 and ending July 2024. The program will span 6-8 weeks (depending on site location) and members can expect to serve 12-16 hours per week (including weekends) at their designated service site. Candidates who are not willing to make this commitment should not apply. This position includes a mandatory in-person training session on Monday, May 20, 2024, or Wednesday, May 29, 2024 (depending on site location). All training expenses, including mileage reimbursement if applicable, are covered by the program if traveling is required.
