Member Duties : This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about homelessness from the ground-up. Your skills are needed for researching statics, analyzing results, and making recommendations for solutions around the issue of poverty. This position will have you engaging with community members and working collaboratively with the United Way, Aid for Friends, and the Housing Authority to promote the activities of the Homeless and Housing Coalition. You will also use your research and writing skills to seek out grant opportunities and collaborate on applications. If you are a strong writer, enjoy marketing, have a passion for housing, and enjoy the outdoors, then Pocatello is for you! There are many activities to participate in and the city is a great community to be a part of. Pocatello is also home to Idaho State University, if you are working toward a degree!
