2015/16 Community Frameworks Strategic Storyteller

Community Frameworks' (CF) primary focus is on housing. Our AmeriCorps VISTA will evaluate our current marketing materials, needs and processes and create and implement a one-year, outcome-based plan to build the capacity of our marketing department. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator (both written and visual, film experience is a plus) and a great story teller with a passion for social change. Graphic design skills are a plus. CF provides services that include affordable rental opportunities, homeownership education and development, affordable housing development services for other organizations, and lending to homeownership programs in the region. Member Duties : We're looking for a passionate storyteller and writer, with excellent verbal and written communications skills, proven initiative, and the ability to connect disparate messages into stories easily understood by a broad audience. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and independent worker, strategic and creative solution-oriented, and able to inspire others to fulfill our mission. Objectives: - Familiarize and evaluate the organization's current marketing materials, needs and processes and create a one-year, outcome-based plan to build the capacity of the marketing department to meet those needs. - Update and implement marketing and communications materials including but not limited to annual reports, newsletters, public relations materials, content calendars and educational materials. - Develop and streamline internal and external messaging content, materials and marketing outlets to support Community Frameworks after the VISTA year.
