Department of Public Instruction VISTA

As a Vista at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, you will help students experiencing homelessness by working with schools, community members, and local organizations. You will work with these organizations to create a mentoring program and ensure that schools are providing these students with the services they need. You will be stationed at one of Wisconsin’s Cooperative Educational Service Agencies (CESAs) near La Crosse. As the first VISTA in this region, you will lay the ground work for the next three years of this project. You will have the support of six other VISTAs across the state working on the same project, as well as a VISTA Leader in Madison.
