Rebuilding Together is a housing nonprofit with affiliates in Washington DC and across the country. Together, we transform the lives of low-income homeowners by improving the safety and health of their homes and revitalizing our communities. Rebuilding Together provides low-income homeowners with critical home repairs, accessibility modifications and energy-efficient upgrades. On average, our homeowners live at or below the poverty level and are forced to choose between food, medicine and shelter needs. We provide these critical home repairs at no cost to qualified homeowners. Rebuilding Together is often the last resort to preserving their homeownership – their only personal asset.

Member Duties : Rebuilding Together CapacityCorps is seeking members to serve full-time from January 11 through December 3, 2021, as AmeriCorps Outreach Coordinator. The AmeriCorps Outreach Coordinator strives to build trust and awareness among targeted client populations most in need of our services and activate the local community to get involved. They identify and implement outreach strategies and techniques to increase homeowner applications, engage volunteers, and build community partnerships. The AmeriCorps Outreach Coordinator ensures a good flow of communication before, during, and after the project. We're a great team, doing great work in the community!
