Member Duties : The MFS Hunger Relief Liaison supports school-based food pantry distributions across multiple sites within the greater Portland public school districts, as part of the MFS Hunger Relief team. Supervised by the Hunger Relief program coordinator, the Liaison: Supports efforts to create an inclusive and welcoming pantry environment - including sample stations, activities for kids, partner tabling, family resource stations; Develops and supports processes for getting client and volunteer feedback on Hunger Relief services; Participates in general pantry and Open Market preparation and setup; Assists with cooking workshops and demonstrations; Supports resource and referral efforts for MFS families and clients across all MFS programs; Recruits and coordinates community volunteers to support Hunger Relief programs; Leads & supports culturally inclusive events and activities.
