Member Duties : Nothing is more satisfying than seeing your work have an immediate and direct impact on the problem you’re trying to solve. As an AmeriCorps Repair Coordinator, your time will be measured with Rebuilding Together in the number of projects completed, injuries from falls prevented, and independence restored. You will contribute to projects from start to finish, beginning with the initial visit to assess the client’s home
repair needs, through the completion of the work scope and final project evaluation. In this position, you will complete hands-on repairs that improve the health and safety of homes and homeowners. You may complete work as part of preparation for a larger event or as a punch list after a project day. On project days, Repair Coordinators will lead volunteers from all
backgrounds and skill levels to complete a variety of construction activities. Wherever possible, they teach and empower volunteers to learn new skills and safely implement them on the worksite.
