Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta Summer Associate

The Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta is an afterschool and summer youth development facility with a mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as moral, responsible, caring, and productive citizens. The Boys & Girls Club provides an active summer hands-on learning program with a focus on preventing summer learning loss among low-income youth while providing balanced, healthy meals and snacks every single day! Summer educational enrichment includes interactive field trips, fun on-site academic projects, daily enrichment taught by certified teachers, and one on one tutoring. Summer Associates will work closely with youth to ensure that the young people at our Club not only retain all of the knowledge and aptitude gained in school but also get ahead of the game for next year’s curriculum. Summer Associates will also help with our Kid's Cafe Food Program to ensure that every child that walks through the doors at the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta is provided three healthy meals every day.
