The Safe Passages’ VISTA Program aligns with the organization’s mission to break the cycle of poverty by actively engaging youth and families in creating a comprehensive service network. VISTAs are placed in school-based Family Resource Centers and school-based Expanded Learning Programs throughout Alameda County, as well as on special projects at Safe Passages. Family Resource Centers establish partnerships and deliver essential services to address the basic needs of low-income families.
