Opportunity Council: Financial Stability Summer Associate
 
 
 
The Financial Stability program at Opportunity Council is a comprehensive program that combines housing stability, employment readiness and financial capability services to low-income clients. The Summer Associate will assist vocational lab participants to increase employment readiness through working on resumes, cover letters, online applications, career planning and research, and job search. Additionally, the Summer Associate will provide community resource connections and complete homeless housing intakes in the agency’s Community Resource Center 3 days a week.

Member Duties : The Summer Associate will complete a number of duties related to helping clients who are low-income find employment and housing including: 1. Assist clients with resume creation, job applications, and cover letters 2. Assist clients with job search strategies and career research and planning 3. Coordinate class attendance and evaluations 4. Assist clients with community resources and referrals 5.) Complete housing intakes with eligible homeless families and individuals
