Resource Development VISTA
 
 
 
People for People is a nonprofit organization that helps connect people with services. This includes everything from their 211 program, Meals on Wheels and assistance for expenses for families needing to travel for medical care. The VISTA will increase the capacity for the organizations by helping the community better understand the services provided and recruit donations and volunteers to increase resources for these programs.

Member Duties : The VISTA will create an awareness campaign with marketing materials, social media and the creation of presentations to educate the public and gain community support. They will help develop a funding plan that includes the development and implementation of fundraising events, research and writing of grants, and organizing donation drives with the help of community partners. The VISTA will develop a volunteer program to support the different programs People for People offers. This includes customizing existing policies and procedures, recruiting and training volunteers and tracking volunteer hours and activities.
