*PRC - Sprout Oral Health

Montana is a frontier state, the fourth largest in landmass in the nation, with a population of just above 1 million. Children and low-income seniors residing in the remote communities of Montana struggle accessing dental care. This project will help increase access to preventative health care for children from low income families and seniors living in poverty by increasing school based, and community based, dental programs to communities in Rural Montana. Studies have demonstrated that low-income adults with poor oral health experience decreased employability and increased lost work hours resulting in reduced business productivity. Fortunately, dental disease is almost 100% preventable. This VISTA project will be placed in beautiful Bozeman, MT, located 2 hours away from Yellowstone National Park, Bozeman is an active town with easy access to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing. Join PRC VISTA and help us prevent tooth decay in Montana! Free housing is available as part of the project.
