Inland NW Land Conservancy Volunteer Coordinator
The Volunteer and Engagement Coordinator will work closely with Conservancy staff to coordinate and host on-the-ground engagement activities and hikes as well as to provide on-site information to the public about regional conservation efforts. This position will be a valuable experience for a conservation minded professional who is passionate about protecting and enhancing natural lands for public benefit and ecosystem function. The individual will learn about the conservation legacy of the Inland Northwest Land Conservancy (INLC), the work of conservation partners and other organizations in the region and will help convey this information to the public.

Member Duties : • Attend all Spokane Service Team trainings and AmeriCorps national days of service. • Maintain accurate and timely reports and timecards. • Assist Program Staff in hosting engagement and stewardship events on the land: to include pre-event organization, as well as during-event engagement and post-event tasks. • Assist INLC Communication staff in capturing and telling compelling stories in written and visual mediums. • Lead on-the-land outreach for community residents at our project sites and tabling events which are in alignment with our strategic plan and vision. • Assist INLC Stewardship Staff in meeting stewardship goals at INLC Nature Preserve properties • Prepare and publish communications to be shared across communication platforms • Data-entry and record keeping in support the above activities and responsibilities
