Environmental Justice Positions - JVC Northwest
 
 
 
Would you like to spend your day in a garden, restoring a habitat, educating the community, or leading outdoor engagement? Don’t just seek justice for the environment – let your year of service take you to be immersed in a new environment! With locales across Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana, you can work towards building more sustainable communities while exploring ecosystems that are new to you. Our environmentally-focused positions will place you with partner agencies who are leading the way in their local communities. Jesuit Volunteers (JVs) live in community and engage in reflection throughout the year, so that their service ignites a life of purpose that serves the common good. In many of our locales, you can serve alongside Native American or Alaskan Native communities who are seeking to restore the land using sustainable practices.
