KETCH Community Outreach Coordinator
 
 
 
Be a part of something special in Wichita, Kansas. KETCH (Kansas Elks Training Center for the Handicapped, Inc.) a nationally recognized rehabilitation service organization committed to helping people with disabilities, has an opening for a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA member to serve as a Community Outreach Coordinator. All applicants should have a genuine interest in National Service, a passion for helping others, as well as strong communication skills, verbal and written, computer skills, and be comfortable with public speaking.

Member Duties : Analyze the current volunteer structure at KETCH and create or revise policies and procedures to improve recruitment, effectiveness and sustainability of community volunteers. Build community partnerships with businesses and organizations in order to spread the word about KETCH, seeking community leaders to serve in advisory roles to assist with client employment, as well as securing fundraising event sponsorship.
