A Youth Homelessness Denver VISTA: Children's Law Center

The Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center (RMCLC) is building a coalition of child welfare agencies, nonprofit organizations, and runaway and homeless youth service providers to create large-scale system change by eliminating the foster care to homelessness pipeline for youth transitioning to adulthood in the Denver Metro area. With RMCLC guidance and oversight, the VISTA member will support this initiative by working to engage youth directly experiencing these systems, coordinating efforts with community partners, and identifying areas for system change. Applicants with personal experience in the foster care or homelessness are preferred. VISTA members will work with partner organizations to encourage cross-sector collaboration and creative problem-solving to improve outcomes for transition-age youth.
