A Year of Service with Colorado-Habitat for Humanity
 
 
 
Serve, learn, lead and explore in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, which serves Boulder and Broomfield counties, has been hosting AmeriCorps members since 2009. Our AmeriCorps members play an integral role in providing leadership on our project sites, engaging volunteers to become champions for our mission, and creating new tools and systems to build capacity.

Member Duties : AmeriCorps members provide a unique human resource – motivated, passionate, hard-working people who address important community needs. From direct construction to resource development, explore the ways in which you can serve with us. Through Habitat for Humanity’s neighborhood revitalization work, we tailor our efforts by partnering locally with residents and community leaders and organizations to best address real concerns and improve the lives of the people who live in the neighborhood. With residents leading revitalization efforts, Habitat’s work looks different in each community — a bank and grocery store in one, a youth center in another, walking trails, home repairs and community gardens in yet another.
