Partners of Prevention AmeriCorps Program
 
 
 
The Nevada Statewide Coalition Partnership is recruiting fall members to serve in northern and southern Nevada. These members will focus on strengthening their local communities through direct service opportunities. Members will work with multiple organizations throughout the state of Nevada to disseminate health education information. Members will serve at community coalitions, food banks, homeless shelters, schools, & health centers. This 1700 hour full-time position offers $13,992 Living Allowance, Eli Segal Award, $6,095 Full-time positions offer Health Coverage & Child Care assistance. 1200 hour three quarters time position offers $9,877 living allowance, and Eli Segal Award $4,336.50. 900 hour half-time position offers $7,408 living allowance, and Eli Segal Award, $3,047.50. 675 hour reduced half time position offers $5,556 living allowance, and Eli Segal Award $2,360.00. 300 hour minimum time position offers $2,469 living allowance, and Eli Segal Award $1,311.11. No Health Care, No Child Assistance. This is a service opportunity that will allow members to gain skills, develop an appreciation for community and earn an Eli Segal Education Award.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps members will be focused on providing education on behalf of local community coalitions and their non-profit partners in the community. The AmeriCorps member will focus on micro sessions to impart knowledge. The members will report that 75% of clients show an improvement in knowledge through the direct services provided by AmeriCorps members to local non-profits and will have a greater capacity in regards to their building activities to make the organization more efficient.
