Member Duties : Project LINC AmeriCorps members will visit nursing facilities/institutions to meet with individuals with disabilities that want to transition or relocate into their own homes in the communities. Members will assist with locating community support services that may include housing, furniture, transportation, and/or medical services to meet the individual's unique transition support needs. Members will recruit volunteers and complete Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Site Surveys (training provided) to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities and their non-disabled peers.
