Supporting Summer Learning
 
 
 
MCCOY Inc.Marion County Commission On Youth, Inc. seeks a Summer VISTA associate to work with our agency's president and other staff to carry out our work supporting over 170 summer learning programs in Marion County. The VISTA will assist in enhancing the following activities: organizing and implementing the local celebration of National Summer Learning Day in late June; supporting the development of a professional learning community of summer program providers that will raise the impact of summer programming; supporting 10 local agencies who will be participating in the Youth Program Quality Assessment and Improvement process; compiling research and data on the importance of quality summer learning programs for the academic achievement of children and youth, especially those from low income families.

Member Duties : Work with staff on enhancing event management, develop web content, coordinate meeting logistics, assist with training sessions, research, develop communication pieces for partners and the public, conduct community meetings, analyze data, monitoring program compliance with quality process
