Program Development & Outreach VISTA - CCSNPC
 
 
 
Interested in learning more about health care issues? Are you a recent college graduate looking to get real world experience? Are you interested in living in a beautiful, historic city with a relatively low cost of living and quick access to the beach? Are you motivated to serve your community by supporting the programs of an organization helping uninsured and under-insured children and adults access healthcare services? Are you ready to work with a small but mighty group of committed professionals? As the VISTA member, you will work in a fast-paced environment supporting programs that work to provide Chatham County citizens access to affordable, quality healthcare. The VISTA will have an opportunity to grow and develop skills in many areas such as marketing, communication and programmatic development. The VISTA will work with programs that work to increase access to health care for children and adults. Professional development opportunities available. Editing/writing experience preferred. Computer skills in Microsoft Suite encouraged.

Member Duties : 1. Assist CCSNPC outreach and communication/marketing efforts to target population and community partners. 2. Maintain information tracking resources 3. Attend outreach events and conduct other community outreach 4. Manage social media campaigns. 5. Assist with grant-writing/reporting and other fundraising. 6. Conduct research for certain health/behavioral care related projects/issues. 7. Participate in public speaking events.
