Martin Luther King Sr. Community Resources Complex (the Complex), a three-story 29,342 square feet and 1,700 person occupancy multi-purpose community resources building. The Complex is designed as a living memorial to the legacy of Reverend Martin Luther King Sr. continuing his life's work of service to humanity regardless of race, creed and gender. This Complex is answering the call of the Old Fourth Ward and Sweet Auburn communities with local social service resources helping them solve some of the problems of the living poor and improving the quality of life in the community at large through an active, effective and credible social and family support network. (Poverty threshold- individuals or families experiencing "hardships" due to the economy and are at or below 200% of the poverty level as stated by the Federal Poverty Guidelines).

Member Duties : This plays a significant role in supporting MLK Sr. CRC with development and fundraising for all programs. This position will assist with increasing the funding support of the organization that will increase awareness of the outstanding work that is being done for people living in poverty. This position will provide ongoing funding support and best practices for the future of the organization. It will assist with updating organizational printed materials; development and grant timeline, coordinating multiple projects and events; and other associated tasks. Also, includes responding to grant and fundraising inquiries, assisting with outreach meetings and events and coordination activities and reports.
