2024 STEM Youth Leadership & Ecosystem VISTA

The VISTA will build the organizational capacity of the Maryland Out of School Time Network (MOST). The VISTA will recruit youth to serve as Ambassadors to other youth and connectors across programs. Additional roles include mapping STEM programs, facilitating meetings and planning for a new STEM Ecosystem. One key strategy will be identifying youth leaders (high school age and recent graduates) to serve as Ambassadors to other youth and as connectors across youth-serving programs. The STEM Youth Leadership & Ecosystem VISTA will help map and locate youth-serving STEM programs; facilitate and coordinate meetings and trainings; recruit and support a youth leadership cohort, and represent the MOST in statewide planning and development meetings for a new statewide STEM Ecosystem effort.
