2024 MOST VISTA Leader

Help provide strategic support to our VISTA cohort and increase the impact of MOST Network’s capacity building projects across multiple sites and focus areas. MOST Network proudly serves as a statewide intermediary sponsor for AmeriCorps VISTA projects, supporting more and better out of school time (OST) programs for Maryland youth. MOST VISTAs are full-time, national service members, who find creative and lasting solutions to build capacity for OST and youth development organizations. Having served the region for nearly a decade, our AmeriCorps VISTA program members serve as a catalyst for change, living and working alongside community members to advance local solutions. MOST VISTA program goals are: 1) Inspire the future STEM workforce by engaging youth in high quality STEM learning opportunities. 2) Support summer programming to combat learning loss and provide healthy, enriching activities for students. 3) Launch innovative projects that expand access, improve quality, facilitate collaboration, and create new initiatives for OST programs statewide. 4) Develop a diverse, equity-centered workforce to strengthen the capacity of the youth development field to meet the needs of communities impacted by poverty.
