SHRA Education Coordinator
 
 
 
The Education Coordinator for the SHRA placed based initiative is a unique opportunity for an individual with a commitment to healthy communities. They will help coordinate the Education partners; focusing specifically on interventions that will improve health outcomes for residents in Sacramento including: increasing access to healthy food and physical activity, improving access to health care, creating health career pathways and more. Headquartered within the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA), the lead agency for a Sacramento place based initiative, the individual in this position will help coordinate the health partners, build relationships and partnerships with existing and new partners, plan, develop and implement strategies and programs to improve key health priorities in Sacramento.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will be assigned to focus on health partners and will: help coordinate and facilitate meetings, assist in the development of strategies to advance collaboration among health and wellness partners, evaluate current and prospective initiatives and design new metrics to measure the efficacy of policies and programs.
