YMCA Immigrant/Opportunity Youth VISTA Project (TwinCitiesL)

VISTA will continue to support partnerships with community partners to increase opportunities, support the Mission Impact Council in collaboration with diverse groups to develop innovative and community led solutions to better serve new immigrant and opportunity youths, and develop and implement frameworks and strategies to mobilize resource development through volunteers and external collaborations, and create and implement job preparedness programs and financial literacy courses to help us fight against poverty that opportunity youths face. The incumbent will build capacity by recommending solutions to evaluate our efforts related to stakeholders, secure funding and social innovation labs. Key organizational priorities to guide the local project are the following: 1. Close the opportunity gap for youth in education and developmental needs 2. Improve the health and well-being of our community 3. Identify and cultivate cause-driven leaders 4. Eradicate disparities and increase equity and access for all 5. Expand our service offerings to meet community needs outside existing YMCA facilities
